Empowering Latina Women in Edmonton
Mujeres Omega Foundation is a community-led nonprofit fostering wellbeing, education, and connection through culturally responsive programs.
We empower Latina women and families in Edmonton through community-based programs that promote wellbeing, connection, and lifelong learning.
Since 2023, our programs have supported Latina women, girls, and families across Edmonton—free to attend thanks to community support.
Programs that make community real
Building Bridges – STEM Program: Hands-on STEM activities that foster confidence and curiosity for mothers and daughters.
Kids & Moms Workshops: Play-centered family workshops that build connection and holistic wellbeing.
Mindful Connections: Wellbeing gatherings focused on mindfulness, storytelling, and peer support.
Community Events: Collective spaces for cultural celebration, healing, and leadership.
Why It Matters
Latina women and families in Edmonton often face social isolation, caregiving pressures, and limited access to culturally responsive support.
At Mujeres Omega Foundation, we create spaces that nurture connection, belonging, and wellbeing — because community is care.
